حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ يَسَافٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَخَذَ بِيَدِي زِيَادُ بْنُ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَأَوْقَفَنِي عَلَى شَيْخٍ بِالرَّقَّةِ يُقَالُ لَهُ:‏‏‏‏ وَابِصَةُ بْنُ مَعْبَدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ صَلَّى رَجُلٌ خَلْفَ الصَّفِّ وَحْدَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَأَمَرَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يُعِيدَ .

“Ziyad bin Abu-Ja’d took me by the hand and made me stand near an old man at Raqqah, whose name was Wabisah bin Ma’bad رضی اللہ عنہ. He said: ‘A man performed prayer behind the row on his own, and the Prophet (ﷺ) commanded him to repeat the prayer.’”
