حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ الْمُثَنَّى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ أَسِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَرَجَ بِهِمْ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ صَلُّوا عَلَى أَخٍ لَكُمْ مَاتَ بِغَيْرِ أَرْضِكُمْ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالُوا:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ هُوَ؟، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ النَّجَاشِيُّ .

The Prophet (ﷺ) led them out and said: “Pray for a brother of yours who has died in a land other than yours.” They said: “Who is he?” He said: “Najashi.”
