حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: مَنْ يَتَقَبَّلُ لِي بِوَاحِدَةٍ، وَأَتَقَبَّلُ لَهُ بِالْجَنَّةِ ، قُلْتُ: أَنَا، قَالَ: لَا تَسْأَلِ النَّاسَ شَيْئًا ، قَالَ: فَكَانَ ثَوْبَانُ يَقَعُ سَوْطُهُ وَهُوَ رَاكِبٌ، فَلَا يَقُولُ لِأَحَدٍ نَاوِلْنِيهِ، حَتَّى يَنْزِلَ فَيَأْخُذَهُ.
