حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ جَابِرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ نُفِسَتْ أَسْمَاءُ بِنْتُ عُمَيْسٍ بِمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَأَرْسَلَتْ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَمَرَهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنْ تَغْتَسِلَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَتَسْتَثْفِرَ بِثَوْبٍ وتُهِلَّ .

“Asma’ bint ‘Umais رضی اللہ عنہا gave birth to Muhammad bin Abi Bakr and sent word to the Prophet (ﷺ). He told her to take a bath, fasten a cloth around her private part and begin the Talbiyah.”
