حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاق، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مِكْنَفٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّ أُحُدًا جَبَلٌ يُحِبُّنَا وَنُحِبُّهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهُوَ عَلَى تُرْعَةٍ مِنْ تُرَعِ الْجَنَّةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَ عَيْرٌ عَلَى تُرْعَةٍ مِنْ تُرَعِ النَّارِ .

“I heard Anas bin Malik رضی اللہ عنہ say: ‘The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Uhud is a mountain which loves us and we love it, and it stands at one of the gates of Paradise. And ‘Aer* stands at one of the gates of Hell.’”
