حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بِشْرٍ بَكْرُ بْنُ خَلَفٍ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ نِعْمَ الْعَبْدُ الْحَجَّامُ،‏‏‏‏ يَذْهَبُ بِالدَّمِ،‏‏‏‏ وَيُخِفُّ الصُّلْبَ،‏‏‏‏ وَيَجْلُو الْبَصَرَ .

“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘What a good slave is the cupper. He takes away the blood, reduces pressure on the spine, and improves the eyesight.’”
