حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَعِيدٍ،‏‏‏‏ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فِي أَحَدِ جَنَاحَيِ الذُّبَابِ سُمٌّ،‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْآخَرِ شِفَاءٌ،‏‏‏‏ فَإِذَا وَقَعَ فِي الطَّعَامِ فَامْقُلُوهُ فِيهِ،‏‏‏‏ فَإِنَّهُ يُقَدِّمُ السُّمَّ،‏‏‏‏ وَيُؤَخِّرُ الشِّفَاءَ .

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “On one of the wings of a fly there is a poison and on the other is the cure. If it falls into the food, then dip it into it, for it puts the poison first and holds back the cure.”
