حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ طَرِيفٍ،‏‏‏‏ وَإِسْحَاق بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ مُجَالِدٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ عَامِرٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ الْحَارِثِ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أُهْدِيَتِ ابْنَةُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَيَّ،‏‏‏‏ فَمَا كَانَ فِرَاشُنَا،‏‏‏‏ لَيْلَةَ أُهْدِيَتْ،‏‏‏‏ إِلَّا مَسْكَ كَبْشٍ .

“The daughter of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was permitted to me as a bride, and our bed on the night when she was presented to me, was no more than the hide of a ram.”
