حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ دَاوُدَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ،‏‏‏‏ عن قَوْلةِ:‏‏‏‏ يَوْمَ تُبَدَّلُ الأَرْضُ غَيْرَ الأَرْضِ وَالسَّمَوَاتُ [سورة إبراهيم آية 48]، [‏‏‏‏‏‏سورة إبراهيم آية 48] فَأَيْنَ تَكُونُ النَّاسُ يَوْمَئِذٍ؟ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ عَلَى الصِّرَاطِ .

“I asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ): “On the Day when the earth will be changed to another earth and so will be the heavens.” [14:48] – where will the people be on that Day?’ He said: ‘On the Sirat (the Bridge across Hell-fire).’”
