حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ . ح وحَدَّثَنَا جُبَارَةُ بْنُ الْمُغَلِّسِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعُمَرُ يَفْتَتِحُونَ الْقِرَاءَةَ بِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ .

“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), Abu Bakr and ‘Umar رضی اللہ عنہما used to start their recitation with ‘All the praises and thanks are to Allah, the Lord of all that exists (Al-hamdu Lillahi Rabbil-‘Alamin).” [1:2]
