حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَسْجُدَ عَلَى سَبْعٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَا أَكُفَّ شَعَرًا وَلَا ثَوْبًا ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ ابْنُ طَاوُسٍ:‏‏‏‏ فَكَانَ أَبِي يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ الْيَدَيْنِ وَالرُّكْبَتَيْنِ وَالْقَدَمَيْنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَكَانَ يَعُدُّ الْجَبْهَةَ وَالْأَنْفَ وَاحِدًا.

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “I have been commanded to prostrate on seven, but not to tuck up my hair or my garment.”
