وَعَن خالدِ بن معدانَ عَنْ مُعَاذٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ عَيَّرَ أَخَاهُ بِذَنْبٍ لَمْ يَمُتْ حَتَّى يَعْمَلَهُ» يَعْنِي مِنْ ذَنْبٍ قَدْ تَابَ مِنْهُ -. رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَقَالَ: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ وَلَيْسَ إِسْنَادُهُ بِمُتَّصِلٍ لِأَنَّ خَالِدًا لَمْ يُدْرِكْ معَاذ بن جبل
