وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى: (ادْفَعْ بِالَّتِي هِيَ أحسن) قَالَ: الصَّبْرُ عِنْدَ الْغَضَبِ وَالْعَفْوُ عِنْدَ الْإِسَاءَةِ فَإِذَا فَعَلُوا عَصَمَهُمُ اللَّهُ وَخَضَعَ لَهُمْ عَدُوُّهُمْ كَأَنَّهُ وَلِيٌّ حَمِيمٌ قَرِيبٌ. رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ تَعْلِيقًا
