حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُغِيرَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْقُرَشِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏ اخْتَتَنَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ ـ عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ ـ وَهْوَ ابْنُ ثَمَانِينَ سَنَةً بِالْقَدُّومِ ‏"‏‏.‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنَادِ ‏"‏ بِالْقَدُومِ ‏"‏‏.‏ مُخَفَّفَةً‏.‏ تَابَعَهُ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ‏.‏ تَابَعَهُ عَجْلاَنُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ‏.‏ وَرَوَاهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ‏.‏

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: Hadrat Ibrahim علیہ السلام circumcised himself at Qaddoum (a settlement of Syriya: Irfan). Abdul Yaman, Shoaib, Abu Zinad have reported the word Qudum with single "d" instead of a double "d" .Abdur Rehman bin Ishaq corroborated him from Abu Zinad. Ajlan has also corroborated him from Hadrat Abu Hurairah رضی اللہ عنہ Muhammad bin Amr has reported it from Abu Salamah.
