حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرٌو، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ‏{‏الَّذِينَ بَدَّلُوا نِعْمَةَ اللَّهِ كُفْرًا‏}‏ قَالَ هُمْ وَاللَّهِ كُفَّارُ قُرَيْشٍ‏.‏ قَالَ عَمْرٌو هُمْ قُرَيْشٌ وَمُحَمَّدٌ صلى الله عليه وسلم نِعْمَةُ اللَّهِ ‏{‏وَأَحَلُّوا قَوْمَهُمْ دَارَ الْبَوَارِ ‏}‏ قَالَ النَّارَ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ‏.‏

By Allah! These are the Infidels of the Quraish who change the favour with unthankfulness. Amr (bin Dinaar), the sub narrator says: They (who changed the favour with unthankfulness) are the Quraish, and Muhammad is the favour of Allah. And the Verse: ''And they have brought their people into the abode of ruin,'' means they reached Hell on the day of Badr.
