حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْبَدٌ، سَمِعْتُ حَارِثَةَ بْنَ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ ‏ "‏ تَصَدَّقُوا، فَسَيَأْتِي عَلَى النَّاسِ زَمَانٌ يَمْشِي الرَّجُلُ بِصَدَقَتِهِ، فَلاَ يَجِدُ مَنْ يَقْبَلُهَا ‏"‏‏.‏ قَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ حَارِثَةُ أَخُو عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ لأُمِّهِ‏ قَالَهُ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ.

I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying, "Give in charity because there will come a time on the people when a person will go out with his alms from place to place but will not find anybody to accept it." Mosaddad states that Hadrat Harithah رضی اللہ عنہ was the brother of Hadrat Obaidullah bin Umer رضی اللہ عنہ on distaff side.
