وحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ، بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ، وَقَالَ: بَيْنَ أَرْبَعَةِ نَفَرٍ زَيْدُ الْخَيْرِ، وَالْأَقْرَعُ بْنُ حَابِسٍ، وَعُيَيْنَةُ بْنُ حِصْنٍ، وَعَلْقَمَةُ بْنُ عُلَاثَةَ، أَوْ عَامِرُ بْنُ الطُّفَيْلِ وَقَالَ: نَاشِزُ الْجَبْهَةِ، كَرِوَايَةِ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ، وَقَالَ: إِنَّهُ سَيَخْرُجُ مِنْ ضِئْضِئِ هَذَا قَوْمٌ، وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ «لَئِنْ أَدْرَكْتُهُمْ لَأَقْتُلَنَّهُمْ قَتْلَ ثَمُودَ.

It was narrated from Umarah bin Al-Qaqa with this chian (a similar hadith as no. 2452) and he said: "...between four men: Zaid Al-Khail, Al Aqra bin' bin Habis, 'Uyaynah or Amr bin At-tufail." And he said: "...between four men: A high forehead," like the report of Abdul-Wahid. And he said: 'There will emerge from the progeny of this men people who.." but he did not say: "If live to see them then I will certainly kill them like the killing of Thamud."
