وحَدَّثَنَاه قُتَيْبَةُ، وَابْنُ رُمْحٍ، عَنِ اللَّيْثِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ، قَالَ ابْنُ رُمْحٍ فِي رِوَايَتِهِ: عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْخَطْمِيِّ، وَكَانَ أَمِيرًا عَلَى الْكُوفَةِ عَلَى عَهْدِ ابْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ.
