حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ حَبِيبٍ الْحَارِثِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَارِبٌ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِهَذِهِ الْقِصَّةِ، غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: فَاشْتَرَاهُ مِنِّي بِثَمَنٍ قَدْ سَمَّاهُ، وَلَمْ يَذْكُرِ الْوُقِيَّتَيْنِ، وَالدِّرْهَمَ وَالدِّرْهَمَيْنِ، وَقَالَ: أَمَرَ بِبَقَرَةٍ فَنُحِرَتْ، ثُمَّ قَسَمَ لَحْمَهَا.
