وحَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ إِسْحَاقُ: أَخْبَرَنَا، وقَالَ عُثْمَانُ: حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، حَدَّثَنِي سَالِمُ بْنُ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِجَابِرٍ: كَمْ كُنْتُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ؟ قَالَ: «أَلْفًا وَأَرْبَعَ مِائَةٍ.
