حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ، أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَى الْحَجَّاجِ، فَقَالَ: يَا ابْنَ الْأَكْوَعِ، ارْتَدَدْتَ عَلَى عَقِبَيْكَ؟ تَعَرَّبْتَ؟ قَالَ: «لَا، وَلَكِنْ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَذِنَ لِي فِي الْبَدْوِ».
