حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْقَوَارِيرِيُّ، وَأَبُو غَسَّانَ الْمِسْمَعِيُّ، وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، وَابْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ إِسْحَاقُ: أَخْبَرَنَا، وَقَالَ الْآخَرُونَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ سُوَيْدِ بْنِ غَفَلَةَ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ، خَطَبَ بِالْجَابِيَةِ، فَقَالَ: «نَهَى نَبِيُّ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ لُبْسِ الْحَرِيرِ إِلَّا مَوْضِعَ إِصْبَعَيْنِ، أَوْ ثَلَاثٍ، أَوْ أَرْبَعٍ».
