حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ قَالَ وَأَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ التَّيْمِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ الْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ وَالْجُبْنِ وَالْهَرَمِ وَالْبُخْلِ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَمِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ.

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺused to say: O Allah, I seek refuge in You from helplessness, laziness, cowardice, old age, and miserliness. I seek refuge in You from the torment of the grave and from the trials of life and death.
