أَخْبَرَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَنْبَأَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عِيسَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَنْبَأَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَنْبَأَنَا شُعْبَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَامَ فِي السَّفَرِ حَتَّى أَتَى قُدَيْدًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ دَعَا بِقَدَحٍ مِنْ لَبَنٍ فَشَرِبَ فَأَفْطَرَ هُوَ وَأَصْحَابُهُ .

The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم fasted while traveling until he reached Qudaid, then he called for a cup of milk and drank and broke his fast; he and his Companions.
