أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَنْبَأَنَا قَيْسُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ لِزَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ:‏‏‏‏ مَا عَلِمْتَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُهْدِيَ لَهُ عُضْوُ صَيْدٍ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلَمْ يَقْبَلْهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ نَعَمْ .

Ibn 'Abbas رضی اللہ عنہما said to Zaid bin Arqam رضی اللہ عنہ: Do you not know that the Prophet ﷺ was given a piece of game meant when he was in Ihram and he did not accept it? He said: Yes.
