أَخْبَرَنَا مُجَاهِدُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ هُشَيْمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ رَأَيْتُ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ رَمَى جَمْرَةَ الْعَقَبَةِ مِنْ بَطْنِ الْوَادِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ هَا هُنَا وَالَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ غَيْرُهُ مَقَامُ الَّذِي أُنْزِلَتْ عَلَيْهِ سُورَةُ الْبَقَرَةِ .

I saw Ibn Masud رضی اللہ عنہ stone Jamratul 'Aqabah from the bottom of the valley, then he said: ;This - by the One beside Whom there is no other God-is the place where the one to whom Surat Al-Baqarah was revealed stood. '
