أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَنْبَأَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَقَدْ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ عُقْبَةَ وَلَكِنِّي لِحَدِيثِ عُبَيْدٍ أَحْفَظُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ تَزَوَّجْتُ امْرَأَةً فَجَاءَتْنَا امْرَأَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ إِنِّي قَدْ أَرْضَعْتُكُمَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَأَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقُلْتُ:‏‏‏‏ إِنِّي تَزَوَّجْتُ فُلَانَةَ بِنْتَ فُلَانٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَجَاءَتْنِي امْرَأَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ إِنِّي قَدْ أَرْضَعْتُكُمَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَأَعْرَضَ عَنِّي فَأَتَيْتُهُ مِنْ قِبَلِ وَجْهِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقُلْتُ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّهَا كَاذِبَةٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَكَيْفَ بِهَا وَقَدْ زَعَمَتْ أَنَّهَا قَدْ أَرْضَعَتْكُمَا دَعْهَا عَنْكَ .

I married a woman, then a black woman came to us and said: I breast-fed you both. I went to the Prophet ﷺ and said: I married so and so and a black woman came to me and said: I breast-fed you both. He turned away from me so I came to him from the other side and said: She is lying. He said: How can you be intimate with your wife when she says that she breast-fed you both? Leave her (divorce her).
