أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ بْنُ صَمْعَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أُمِّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ عَائِشَةَ،‏‏‏‏ تَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الْوَاشِمَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْمُسْتَوْشِمَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْوَاصِلَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْمُسْتَوْصِلَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالنَّامِصَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْمُتَنَمِّصَةِ .

I heard 'Aishah رضی اللہ عنہا say: 'The Messenger of Allah [ﷺ] forbade the woman who does tattoos and the woman who has that done, the woman who affixes hair extensions and the woman who has that done, An-Namisah (the one who does the plucking) and Al-Mutanammisah (the one who has it done).'
