أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ قُدَامَةَ قال:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ بَيَانٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ قَيْسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قال:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ آيَاتٌ أُنْزِلَتْ عَلَيَّ اللَّيْلَةَ لَمْ يُرَ مِثْلُهُنَّ قَطُّ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ .

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Some verses were revealed to me tonight, the like of which has never been seen: Say: I seek refuge with (Allah), the Lord of the daybreak. And Say: I seek refuge with (Allah) the Lord of mankind.'
