حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سُئِلَ سُفْيَانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ تَفْسِيرِ هَذَا فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِذَا أَسْلَمَ فَلَا جِزْيَةَ عَلَيْهِ.

“Sufyan was asked to explain the tradition mentioned above. ” He said “When he embraces Islam, no jizyah will be levied on him. ”
