حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: قَدْ كَانَ يَكُونُ فِي الْأُمَمِ مُحَدَّثُونَ، فَإِنْ يَكُ فِي أُمَّتِي أَحَدٌ فَعُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: هَذَا صَحِيحٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِ سُفْيَانَ، قَالَ: قَالَ سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ: مُحَدَّثُونَ يَعْنِي مُفَهَّمُونَ.
