حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ، وَغَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ، قَالُوا: حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ زُفَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَجْلَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: أُتِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِجَنَازَةِ رَجُلٍ لِيُصَلِّيَ عَلَيْهِ فَلَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَيْهِ، فَقِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا رَأَيْنَاكَ تَرَكْتَ الصَّلَاةَ عَلَى أَحَدٍ قَبْلَ هَذَا ؟ قَالَ: إِنَّهُ كَانَ يَبْغَضُ عُثْمَانَ فَأَبْغَضَهُ اللَّهُ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: هَذَا غَرِيبٌ، لَا نَعْرِفُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ صَاحِبُ مَيْمُونِ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ ضَعِيفٌ فِي الْحَدِيثِ جِدًّا، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ صَاحِبُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ هُوَ بَصْرِيٌّ ثِقَةٌ، وَيُكْنَى: أَبَا الْحَارِثِ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ الْأَلْهَانِيُّ صَاحِبُ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ ثِقَةٌ، يُكْنَى: أَبَا سُفْيَانَ شَامِيٌّ.
