حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ وَكِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، وَيَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيل بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَهْلَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ عُثْمَانُ يَوْمَ الدَّارِ: إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدْ عَهِدَ إِلَيَّ عَهْدًا فَأَنَا صَابِرٌ عَلَيْهِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: هَذَا حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ، لَا نَعْرِفُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ حَدِيثِ إِسْمَاعِيل بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ.
