حَدَّثَنَا خَلَّادُ بْنُ أَسْلَمَ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَوْفٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ هِنْدٍ الْجَمَلِيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ عَلِيٌّ: كُنْتُ إِذَا سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَعْطَانِي، وَإِذَا سَكَتُّ ابْتَدَأَنِي . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: هَذَا حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ.
