كتــــاب اللباس 3 The Book of Dress (117) Chapter: The Excellence of Wearing White Clothes and the Permissibility of Wearing Red, Green, Yellow and Black Clothes Made from Cotton and Linen but not Silk (117) - باب استحباب الثوب الأبيض وجواز الأحمر والأخضر والأصفر والأسود وجوازه من قطن وكتان وشعر وصوف وغيرها إلا الحرير Ibn 'Abbas (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying, "Put on white clothes because they are the best; and use them for shrouding your dead." [Abu Dawud and At- Tirmidhi]. وعن ابن عباس رضى الله عنهما أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: إلبسوا من ثيابكم البياض؛ فإنها من خير ثيابكم، وكفنوا فيها موتاكم".((رواه أبو داود والترمذي))
