أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ حُسَيْنًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ جَاءَتِ امْرَأَةٌ وَمَعَهَا بِنْتٌ لَهَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَفِي يَدِ ابْنَتِهَا مَسَكَتَانِ،‏‏‏‏ نَحْوَهُ مُرْسَلٌ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ:‏‏‏‏ خَالِدٌ أَثْبَتُ مِنَ الْمُعْتَمِرِ.

A woman came to the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم with a daughter of hers, and on her daughter's arm were two bangles - a similar report, in Mursal form. Abu Abdur Rahman (An-Nasa'i) said: Khalid is a more reliable than Mu'tami'r (therefore, his continuous narration is more authentic than Mu'tami'r's Mursal).
